Donor Milk Drive

  • Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center Auditorium 1010 Murray Avenue San Luis Obispo, CA, 93405 United States

WHEN A BABY IS BORN EXTREMELY PREMATURE, A MOTHER SOMETIMES DOES NOT PRODUCE ENOUGH BREAST MILK FOR THE BABY. DONATED BREAST MILK CAN PROVIDE IMPORTANT PROTECTION FOR THESE FRAGILE BABIES AND HELP PREVENT A POTENTIALLY FATAL CONDITION CALLED NECROTIZING ENTEROCOLITIS (NEC).

THE CENTRAL COAST BREASTFEEDING COALITION AND SIERRA VISTA REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER, IN SUPPORT OF THE SAN JOSE MOTHER'S MILK BANK, ARE HOSTING A MILK DRIVE. WE INVITE YOU TO SUPPORT THE TINIEST NICU PATIENTS.

DONORS AND THEIR FAMILIES ARE INVITED TO STOP BY THE AUDITORIUM AT SIERRA VISTA FROM 9:30AM-2:30PM TO:
LEARN ABOUT BREAST MILK DONATION.
GET SCREENED TO BE A DONOR.
DONATE YOUR PROPERLY STORED FROZEN MILK.
