2015 Milk Drive

Breast Milk Drive

When a baby is born extremely premature, a mother sometimes does not produce enough breast milk for the baby. Donated breast milk can provide important protection for these fragile babies and help prevent a potentially fatal condition called necrotizing enterocolitis (NEC).

the Central Coast Breastfeeding Coalition and Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center, in support of the San Jose Mother's Milk Bank, are hosting a Milk drive. We invite you to support the tiniest NICU patients. Donors and their families are invited to stop by the Auditorium at Sierra Vista from 9:30am-2:30pm to:

  • LEARN ABOUT BREAST MILK DONATION.

  • GET SCREENED TO BE A DONOR.

  • DONATE YOUR properly stored FROZEN MILK.

  • Meet lactation consultants and get information about local community resources.

  • enjoy light refreshments, raffle prizes, and more.

Snack, drinks and raffle prizes will be provided compliments of the Central Coast Breastfeeding Coalition. This event is free and open to the public. Children Welcome.
